Steven is instrumental in developing and executing strategies to drive rapid commercialization. Nelson oversees Dario’s global commercial activites, including growth strategy, sales, client management, marketing, strategic partnerships, and expansion into new markets. Steven brings over two decades of experience building and scaling technology-centric healthcare companies. Most recently, Nelson served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Contigo Health, a multi-faceted collaborator for healthcare providers, plans, and employers. During his tenure at Contigo Health, he led the company to revenue scale and turned the business to profitability, managed over 75 clients in the portfolio, and established several national and regional health plan partnerships as well as employer relationships. Before his role at Contigo, Nelson served as the Chief Operating Officer of Anthem Inc.’s Diversified Business Group. There, he played a pivotal role in the “One Anthem” transformation initiative that developed strategic business plans resulting in a $7 billion run-rate revenue.

Previously, Tomer was the Co-Founder and CEO of Oberon Media, a leading casual gaming company providing for some of the world’s biggest brands, including Microsoft, Yahoo and Sprint. Prior to Oberon, Tomer was the Co-Founder and President of RichFx, an e-commerce startup that provided visual merchandising technologies to top retailers. Omar is one of the world’s leading experts on behavior change. He is keen on behavior change in chronic disease, and his career is characterized by developing, piloting, and commercializing scalable solutions that drive durable behavior change. As Chief Medical Officer at Dario, Omar is responsible for clinical solutions and provides visible external and internal leadership. In his role, he conducts clinical research, vets clinical partnerships, and sets clinical product and sales strategies to drive clinical and financial outcomes. Previous roles include Chief Medical Officer of Catasys (now OnTrak, Nasdaq: OTRK) and Medical Director at Hazelden. He has an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, an M.D. from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and served as Executive Chief Resident in Psychiatry at Duke University. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, is a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, and is board-certified in Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine and Medical Management. He is the recipient of numerous awards and the author of several publications, including the best-selling book Craving: Why We Can’t Seem to Get Enough.

He also leads Dario’s corporate IT department, integrating security measures to support business operations efficiently. Previously, Tom held information security and IT leadership roles at companies ranging from startups to large enterprises in healthcare (CVS Health, Adapt Health, Intarcia Therapeutics), telecom (British Telecom) and finance (Boston Stock Exchange). Dennis M. McGrath has been a director of our company since November 12, 2013. Mr. McGrath is a seasoned medical device industry executive with extensive public company leadership experience possessing a broad range of skills in corporate finance, business development, corporate strategy, operations and administration. After an 18-year career at PhotoMedex, Inc. (Nasdaq: PHMD), he joined PAVmed, Inc. (Nasdaq: PAVM, PAVMZ), a multi-product, commercial stage, medical technology company in 2017 and presently serves as its President and Chief Financial Officer. Additionally, upon the IPO of PAVmed’s majority owned subsidiary, Lucid Diagnostics, Inc. (Nasdaq: LUCD) he was appointed its Chief Financial Officer. Previously, from 2000 to 2017 Mr. McGrath served in several senior level positions of PhotoMedex, Inc. (Nasdaq: PHMD), a global manufacturer and distributor of medical device equipment and services, including from 2011 to 2017 as director, President, and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to PhotoMedex’s reverse merger with Radiancy, Inc. in December 2011, he also served as Chief Executive Officer from 2009 to 2011 and served as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer from 2000 to 2009. He received honors as a P.A.C.T. (Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technology) finalist for the 2011 Investment Deal of the Year, award winner for the SmartCEO Magazine 2012 CEO of the Year for Turnaround Company, and finalist for the Ernst & Young 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year. Marilyn Ritholz, PhD, is a Senior Psychologist at Joslin Diabetes Center. She treats adults and adolescents with diabetes. In addition, she supervises staff in their clinical work. Dr. Ritholz also is on the faculty at Boston Children's Hospital and teaches about conducting clinical supervision with psychology trainees. Dr. Ritholz is an experienced qualitative researcher who has conducted qualitative studies using both in-depth interviews and focus groups. She collaborated with Dr. Weinger on qualitative research exploring the patient-provider relationship and also provider communication about diabetes complications; she has published several qualitative articles on these topics. She also collaborated with Dr. Howard Wolpert and has published qualitative research exploring psychosocial factors associated with diabetes technology. Presently, Dr. Ritholz is collaborating with Joslin's Dr. Elena Toschi on a qualitative study of Continuous Glucose Monitoring as well as the multi-site Hypoglycemia Awareness Restoration Program (HARP).
